STAPH INFECTION IN PAWS

Many dogs can get staph infections under their paws and other parts of the body..


Staph infections is a kind of bacteria that is commonly found on skin.
Some dogs will break out in pimples and infected hair follicles if their immune systems are stressed and somtimes we don't know why this is happen.



Symptom: Limp, licking their paws, itching them, if the infections are under their paws, they will walk very carefully on the ground if their are stones e.tc.


Treatment Your vet will usually prescribe oral antibiotics and medicated shampoo. Clean the area and keep it dry.
Your dog might have to take antibiotics for many weeks sometimes.
